Helpful Tips

1. Write your child’s name on all dance shoes and belongings, including dance bags.

2. Dancers should arrive dressed in leotard and tights. Cover up for outside and the hallway is appropriate. All dancers should wear their hair pulled back away from their face.

3. Remember that all dancers need to use the restroom before class, especially our youngest students. Students may bring a water bottle into class. Snacks are not permitted inside the dance room.

4. Classes begin and end promptly on time. Be sure your child arrives on time and is ready for class. Children must stay in the dance room until parents pick up at the door. Please do not drop your child off at an outside entrance and allow them to walk in by themselves.

5. Please respect the studio room. No running or rough playing.

6. If you plan to leave the building during class, please leave your cell # with instructor.

7. If your little dancer is nervous or has a few tears, understand that some dancers need a few lessons to adjust. We suggest that you let them walk in and not be carried; this allows the teacher to take their hand instead of taking them from their parents arms. We will do everything possible to make sure each student feels secure. It doesn’t take long for them to relax and enjoy the fun!

8. If we have inclement weather, please call the community center to find out about closing.

9. If your child plans on being absent, please e-mail the instructor and let us know.
